Thomas J. Ryan, "A View From the Bridge"

"A View From the Bridge"

Actor Thomas Jay Ryan joins us to talk about A View From the Bridge, now at the Ahmanson Theatre. The play by Arthur Miller is set in 1950s America, in an Italian American neighborhood near the Brooklyn Bridge, and centers on a longshoreman, obsessed with his 17-year-old niece and enraged over her love of an immigrant. Director Ivo van Hove has brought new meaning to Miller's work with a stark and deeply emotional production.
